Today was a good day. Yes I left my home in Clayton and drove down to Atlantic Beach, NC. I was on a journey to drop into a Craft Brewery and sample their beer.

Raining, cold and windy. 60 mph traveling on the 70 East. 2 hours and 10 minutes until arrival.

Arrived and not a great deal of parking available. Face mask on and walked through the door into main seating area. Everyone looked over at me. Oh god I think I must look like a suspicious person of interest. 😜

Friendly welcome from barmaid or was this the owner? Not sure! The brewery offer twelve of their own beers and I ordered a IPA. A pint measure costing $6. Yikes yes $6!!. Also purchased an army green tee-shirt as a reminder of my journey.
